Ax and the Hatchetmen – Lucy (Lyric Video)
Ax and The Hatchetmen han lanzado el lyric video de su nueva canción Lucy, un animado tema de pop‑punk que recuerda tanto a The Plain White T’s como a The Beatles. Estos últimos reciben un homenaje dentro de la grabación.
Lucy está incluida en su álbum debut So Much To Tell You, disponible a través de Arista Records desde el 24 de octubre de 2025. Se trata de un LP de 12 temas producido por Jake Sinclair (Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, Pink), quien incluso incorporó una vieja maqueta de Rivers Cuomo (Weezer). El disco reúne muchas de las canciones favoritas de los fans del anterior EP de Ax and The Hatchetmen. Pero la más destacada es, sin duda, Lucy, que acumula numerosas reproducciones en Spotify. En el álbum también se encuentra el primer sencillo Oasis y otros grandes temas como 7×9 y Blurry Lights, con la colaboración de Albert Hammond Jr. de The Strokes.
Formados en Chicago en 2018, Ax and The Hatchetmen está compuesto por seis miembros: Axel «Ax» Ellis (voz y guitarra principal), Sal Delifippis (guitarra), Hunter Olshefke (bajo), Nick Deputy (batería), Phil Pistone (trompeta) y Quinn Dolan (saxofón). Los seis se conocieron en la escuela de música, donde estudiaban jazz.
