Robot Dog Funeral – Shelter
Robot Dog Funeral están de vuelta con el tercer sencillo de su próximo EP homónimo, que verá la luz apenas un año después de su álbum de debut Dead Inside. El grupo suizo de estética ambigua, entre el new wave, el punk y el post-punk, navega también por varios géneros incluyendo el indie rock, el punk, la electrónica y baladas como Shelter, su último tema publicado el 28 de noviembre de 2025. Y puede que esta imagen dura y etérea los aleje de canciones sentimentales, pero en el fondo el grupo tiene su corazoncito.

«La letra explora el miedo, el amor y la sensación de un final cercano, mientras busca protección y consuelo en alguien familiar durante estos días inciertos», ha explicado Robot Dog Funeral.
Tanto en el sonido de Shelter, como en el de los dos singles anteriores Don’t Scream At Your Children y Icarus se nota la mano del productor Philippe Laffer (Alterna Recording Studios), destacando la energía de la banda. Todos componen las canciones, mientras que el vocalista Jonathan von Siebenthal es el artífice de las letras.
Robot Dog Funeral se formó en Solothurn en 2019 con von Siebenthal «Johnny 7» (voz, bajo), Jan Ziswiler «Zisi» (segunda voz, guitarra), Martin Schaad «Dino» (sintetizadores) y Jonas Meise «Johnny 0» (batería).
