The Gnomes – Flippin’ Stomp
Here is the only true video to date made by the Australian four-piece garage rock band The Gnomes. It is the third single taken from their debut self-titled album which was released on the 7th of November 2025. Flippin’ Stomp video was directed and edited by Willem Kingma.
The Gnomes are based in the Melbourne Bayside area, and started life in 2022 as a solo project of teenage singer/songwriter/guitarist Jay Milla, recording and performing as Gnome. You can find the early albums and singles on their Bandcamp page.
The group was expanded to a full band for live performances, and eventually on record as well for their self-titled debut album as a group. By adding Ned Capp on guitar, Olly Katsianis on bass, and Ethan Robins on drums with Jay on lead vocals and lead guitar, they evolved from the solo project Gnome to become the Gnomes!
