Oh! Marlene – Todos Los Caminos EP
Alicante’s indie rock upcomers Oh! Marlene has released a very good four track EP on June 27th entitled Todos Los Caminos.
The disc, recorded in Harrisound Studio, produced by Alex Román, and mastered by Miguel Alsem, captures the distinctive sound of a band moving forward with confidence, while showing that they may be ready to leap into a bigger future.
It is hard to pick the favourite songs from the EP, thinking tastes can change over the day. However, Dando Gracias and Falso Nueve are two tracks that shine with a special kind of light and showcase Oh Marlene!’s ability to blend melody, energy, and emotion. All killer no filler!!
Oh! Marlene are Ana Guillamó (vocals, rhythm guitar), Enrique Vicedo (lead guitar), Eloy Serrano (bass), and Maxi Leguizamón (drums).
If you get a chance to catch them live, you won’t be disappointed! Ana dominates the stage with her very distinct voice and lyrics. It was a pleasure meeting them and talking with them in Valencia in October. A friendly bunch, with a bright musical future ahead of them.
