Franz Bauer – I Believe

Franz Bauer - I Believe

Singer, guitarist, and composer Paco Román, frontman of the Spanish band Neuman, has surprised us all with a new project, Franz Bauer, whose first track has just been unveiled. I Believe was independently released on September 30, 2025, and will be part of an EP of five or six songs, including at least two singles.

For this new project, Franz Bauer features Neuman members José Manuel Sánchez and Dani Molina, joined by one of the band’s former members who best understands Paco Román’s music, bassist David Manzullo. The project also includes a collaboration with New York multi-instrumentalist George Wilson.

With Franz Bauer, Román aims to explore his more international side, which has been present since the beginning and is deeply rooted in his influences. The musician, based in Granada, had already traveled across American lands with his guitar, where his music has always been well-received but was never seriously launched. I Believe was nearly conceived in Los Angeles, and in a certain way, it carries the light of California and the essence of the American folk.

Lyrics

I believed past the law
Law begin
I believed last the lies
Lies gone
Giving in the lies, over in dusting love
Oh no, but a lie
But a love
So…
Over in this time
Over and darling love
Even a lie
Even dancing goes
Oh, if now the last year goes
The lies will go
Oh, if now in the last day,
Love
The lies pass go
